85078260		04-01-2025	Plumber installed a hot water heater in October 2023 without a permit. February 2025, it stopped heating the water. Their 30-day warranty prevented them from coming out to determine why it was not heating and they told me to contact a plumber. I contacted another plumber who inspected the unit and determined that the pilot was out. He also said that the P2p was not installed and that was a code violation. He also said that the stand that they said was required and out of pocket cost to me was not required. I sent an email requesting that they get a permit after the fact so that I can get to the City of New Orleans to inspect their work. When the home warranty company called them to discuss the issue, they told them that it was a manufacture problem and referred me to their lawyer. They did not inspect the unit to be able to have a conversation with the manufacturer. How can you help with this problem?
